Kevin J Dixon, P.E., P.P.
Owner, Dixon Associates, Consulting Engineers providing engineering design and analysis for
public and private clients, primarily in the area of land development, and infrastructure
improvements. Specialty of practice encompasses land development projects, including all phases
of design. Primary responsibilities lie in completion of designs, obtaining permits for projects, then
monitoring construction progress.
Mr Dixon is a Registered Professional Engineer in Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana,
Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, specializing in
a wide variety of issues relating to site development projects. A graduate of the University
of Pittsburgh (1978), Mr. Dixon has engineered hundreds of projects in the environmentally
sensitive regions of the Eastern United States, focusing increasingly on alternative strategies for
meeting develoment objectives with no compromise of environmental quality.
Duties include overseeing entire office and professional operation. Daily activities include client
contact, administrative operations and office policy decisions, direct supervision of all engineering
design, facility management and capital reinvestment. Responsibilities include direction of staff and coordination of
subcontractors and subconsultants.
Duties also include preparation of reports and documents, and attendance and testimony at all planning and zoning
board meetings and meetings of governing bodies. Duties also include professional testimony as expert witness at hearings and litigation.
Technical responsibilities include site feasibility analysis, design of all site improvements, including roadways, parking lots,
grading, drainage, stormwater quantity and stormwater quality management plans, soil erosion
plans, lighting plans, traffic analysis and air quality studies, bulkheads, earthwork, soils investigations, utility design
including sanitary sewers, pump stations, Municipal Wastewater Management Plans, NJDPDES
permits, Water Allocation permits, hydrogeologic investigations for same.
